Week #8 Selections

My much anticipated picks for week #8 are finally here. After getting my confidence back, I still think that my early season goal of .600 is still attainable. With that said, here are my selections:

NFL: JETS +3 LOSS
NFL: COLTS +3 WIN
OVER-UNDER: Atl-Cin OVER 45 WIN
College Pick of the Week: Tulsa -14 LOSS
Prime Time: NEW ENGLAND -1.5 WIN

On a side note, don't shy away from taking the Panthers at -3 this Sunday Night. I really don't think Dallas' rookie QB will get the job done on the road. Hopefully I will be back to .500 when I post my blog next week. Until then... Break your Bookie and Squish the Fish!!!

ON FIRE!!!

After another solid performance last weekend going 5-1, I was able to itch my way close to .500. This week (week #8) marks the end of the first half of the NFL Season and I hope to get back to par (.500) so that I can start fresh in Week #9. Here is my current record as we go to week #8.

OVERALL RECORD (15-18)
MONDAY NIGHT RECORD (3-1)

Week 7 Selections

After finally catching a break, I had a solid 3-2 last week creeping my record to 13-19. Still have a lot of work to do so having said that, here are my picks for week # (hopefully lucky) 7!

NFL: Lions @ Jets -3... Take the Jets at -3. WIN

The Lions got lucky last week and I don't think they have the skills to walk into New York and pull any sorta magic out. This is a great chance for Pennington to get back to the level he was at a couple of seasons ago. As his confidence is slowly coming back, look for him to take charge of this game early.

NFL: Cardinals -3 @ Raiders... Take the Cards at -3. LOSE

After last week's self-destruction, the Cardinals will play their hearts out for their coach. We all know that he's on thin rope. If Arizona can't beat the lowly Raiders, Green is a goner! Leinhart and the Edge will lead the way.

Over/Under: Take the over 40 in the Chargers/Chiefs Game. WIN

Lets face it here, I know the Chiefs won't score many points in this one but LT will be close to covering the points on his own. Look for an absolute blowout here!

College Pick of the Week: Take Wisconsin -6 @ Purdue. WIN

The Badgers have been unstoppable all season long. There only loss is at #2 Michigan and they were 10 all at half time. Look for them to win by at least a couple TD's.

Prime Time Pick: Take the Over 45 on Monday Night. WIN

This is going to be a huge game for both teams. Look for the air attack to dominate the game on both sides of the ball. TO is on fire, and the Giants high potent offence has averaged over 25 a game this season.

On a side note, it wouldn't be a bad idea to bet on GB +5 WIN this week. I feel confident about these picks so it should good week. I'll be bragging next week! Until then... Break your Bookie and Squish the Fish!!!

Week #6 Selections

Well after a horrible 0-5 last week my record is now 10-17. I honestly don't think that my record has ever even been so horrible. This week I look to redeem myself. Here are my picks:

NFL: Jets/Dolphins... Take the Jets at -2 WIN
NFL: Eagles/Saints... Take the Eagles -3 LOSS
OVER/UNDER: Take the over 43 in the Texans/Cowboys game LOSS
College Pick of the Week: Michigan/Penn State... Take the Wolverines at -5 WIN
Prime Time Pick: Take the Over 40 on Monday Night (Bears/Cardinals) WIN

Week #5 Selections

Well after 2 losing weeks in a row, I ain't braggin anymore. My record has slipped to an embarrassing (10-12). The worst thing that can happen to a sports bettor has happened to me. I lost all my confidence and to be honest with you, I not that pumped up about my picks this week either. With no explanations, here are my picks for the week:

NFL: Chiefs- 3.5 @ Cardinals... Take the Chiefs at -3.5 LOSS
NFL: Bills @ Bears -10... Take my beloved Bills at +10 LOSS
Over-Under Game: Take the over 46 in the Rams-Packers game LOSS
College Pick of the Week: Oregon @ Cal -5.5... Take the Ducks at +5.5 LOSS
Prime Time Game: Take Big Ben and the Steelers with the 3 points LOSS
